The Coal City soccer team controlled the ball the entire game in a 3-0 win over Reed-Custer on Monday.
Coal City coach Steven McCleary was happy with his team’s ability to keep the ball away from Reed-Custer.
“It was good,” said McCleary. “We controlled the ball very well. We just had trouble finishing. This was kind of a nice little bouceback for us.”
The Coalers were taking shots on Reed-Custer goalkeeper Stephen Condrey all game and he was saving a lot of them.
