Roscoe J. Parks II, 75, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 24, 2026.
Roscoe was a proud United States Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He retired from Caterpillar after many years of dedicated service. Roscoe was a loving grandfather who cherished every moment with his grandchildren.
Roscoe is survived by his sons, David (Jane) Parks and Michael Parks; his grandchildren: Devin, Trevor and Gavin Parks, and Ivy Lakey; brother, Leo Parks; sister, Kay Parks; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

CARBON HILL—Shawn B. Super, 53, of Carbon Hill, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, March 24, 2026.
Born Feb. 9, 1973, in Joliet, IL. Shawn is a son of Donna (Haldorson) Pacchetti of Carbon Hill and the late David Earl Super. He was raised in Carbon Hill, attended Coal City schools, and graduated with the Class of 1991 from Coal City High School. Shawn went on to pursue his passion for the arts, earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Art from the University of Illinois Chicago, and continued to express his creativity throughout his life.

HOMEWOOD, IL—Janet Angela Reinke, 72, of Homewood, IL, passed away on March 14, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family, who will cherish her memory forever.
Born on Nov. 17, 1953, in Columbus, OH, Janet Angela was a daughter to Fredrick II and Beverly (Walsh) Schmidt.

WILMINGTON—Haley Marie Donzella (née Quigley), of Wilmington, whose radiant spirit touched the lives of everyone she met, found her eternal beach on Feb. 25, 2026, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. She was 29.
Haley was born on March 16, 1996, in Joliet. Although her life began in the Midwest, she found her home in Southern California, where she truly thrived. She was happiest with sand between her toes and frequently enjoyed trips to Mexico, always finding time to relax with a cold cocktail on the beach.
