MORRIS— Bonnie L. Connor, 86 of Morris, took the hand of the Lord, peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, March 21,2025.
Bonnie was born to proud parents Francis and Beatrice Flint in Kankakee, on March 11, 1939. She was raised in Manteno until moving to Morris with her family at the age of 13, and went on to graduate from Morris High School with the Class of 1957.

WILMINGTON— Carolyn Bright Kurth, 78, of Wilmington, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 17, 2025, at her home.
Born Feb. 24, 1947, in Paris, IL, Carolyn Ann was the daughter of Archie and Margaret Ann (Hensen) Vestal. She was raised in Paris and graduated from Paris High School with the Class of 1965. The following year, she married Richard Bright on March 11, 1966, and together they relocated to Wilmington, where they built a home and raised their family. Richard preceded her in death in 1999.

COAL CITY— Kathleen R. Esgar, 71 of Coal City, and a long time resident of Mazon, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at the Lightways Hospice and Palliative Home in Joliet.
Born April 17, 1953 in Morris, Kathleen Regina was a daughter of Walter and Marjorie (Blake) Glenn. She was raised and educated in Mazon where she attended MVK High School and graduated with the Class of 1971. On Feb. 19, 1972, Kathleen married Mark Esgar and together they made their home and raised their family in Mazon.

BRACEVILLE— James G. Harvey, 75, of Braceville, passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025 at home.
Born March 21, 1949, in Joliet, James Glenn, known as Jim, was the third son of George and Mary (Poppleton) Harvey. Jim was raised and educated in Braceville. He graduated from Gardner-South Wilmington High School in 1967 and was drafted into the United States military, serving as a Military Policeman with the Army.
A hard-working man, Jim dedicated himself to his work as a welder and a pipefitter, retiring from Durkee Foods following 30 years of service.

DIAMOND— Delores “Dee” Provance, 95, of Diamond, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at Morris Hospital.
Born on Jan. 27, 1930, in Detroit, MI, Dee was the daughter of Dominic Joseph “Duke” and Bertha (Facinelli) Rossi. At an early age, her family moved to Coal City, where she attended Catholic grade school before completing her education at Northside School and graduating from Coal City High School with the Class of 1947.

MORRIS—Donald C. Kaufman, 89, of Morris, passed away peacefully at his home in Morris on March 19, 2025.
Born on May 2, 1935, in Crescent City, IL, Donald was the son of Herman and Florence Marie (Prault) Kaufman. At an early age, his family moved to a farm in rural Watseka, where he developed a deep appreciation for agriculture and the values of hard work and perseverance. That same farm, which he later co-owned with his brother, was recognized as a Centennial Farm by the Illinois Department of Agriculture in 2019.
