Cynthia A. Harvey

BRACEVILLE—Cynthia A. (Lybarger) Harvey, 57, of Braceville, formerly of Wilmington and Braidwood, passed away unexpectedly on Feb. 18, 2026 at her home.
Born on Dec. 23, 1968, in Chicago, Cyndi Ann was the daughter of Lawrence Manford and Donna Jean (Schutten) Lybarger. She was raised and educated in Wilmington and graduated with the class of 1987. She later attended Olivet Nazarene University, earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2014.
Cyndi was a dedicated nurse who worked at several hospitals during her career. She spent more than five years at Loyola University Hospital in the Interventional Radiology Department. She also worked at Morris Hospital, where she was a founding member of the Morris Hospital Cardiac Catheterization Project.
She enjoyed reading, gardening, cooking, traveling, and especially spending time with her family. She loved the beach, weekend getaways, and visiting The Morton Arboretum. Cyndi was a natural caregiver who devoted her life to serving others. She cared deeply for her family, supported causes close to her heart, and even rescued animals in need. Her kindness and generosity will be remembered by all who knew her.
She is survived by her three children: Justin (Fiancé Jill) Wadsworth, of Carol Stream, IL; Marissa Wadsworth, of Peru, IL and John David Hnetkovsky, of Braceville; partner, Robert Romanetto and his children: Emma and Jonathon (Allison Moyers) Romanetto; sister, Deborah Lybarger, of Joliet; cousins: Steven (Lisa) Pitts, David Pitts, Michele (Jeremy) Allot; dear friends: Cassie Smith, Diane Lowery and Tonia Boyer as well as her furry friends: Cheyenne, Moose, and Remi.
Cyndi was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Donna; aunts: Sherry Pitts and Gayle Schutten and grandparents, Harold and Bertha Schutten.
The family will receive friends at Baskerville Funeral Home, 700 E. Kahler Rd. in Wilmington on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026 from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 1 p.m. Cyndi will be laid to rest at Wesley Cemetery following the services.
