Helen L. Sloan

BRAIDWOOD—Helen L. Sloan, 84, of Braidwood, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2025.
She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond E. Sloan; loving mother of Katherine (Mark) Peterson, Timothy (Lisa) Sloan, Ricky (Kimberly) Sloan, David (Kimberly) Sloan and Susan (Keith) Dittmer; devoted grandmother of 12 and great-grandmother of 16; fond sister of Nadine (late Jack) Boyd.
She was preceded in death by grandchildren, Bradley and Kyle and also numerous brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be Friday, Aug. 8, 2025 from 4–8 p.m. at Anderson Memorial Home, 21131 W. Renwick Rd., Plainfield, IL with chapel service Friday evening at 7 p.m. Service concludes at the funeral. Cremation rites will be accorded and inurned at Resurrection Cemetery at a later date.
